In this video, I show off the new professions. currently there are 12 starting professions, but I will be adding new professions that will allow your character to upgrade once certain levels are attained. I made a number of layout changes to the new campaign screen. I also added a game_option to control the title UI colors and new campaign screen colors.

Tons of bug fixes, and I do believe the dreaded ‘missing storage’ bug has been found, and destroyed. It was lurking in the event update code for the markets, overwriting station storage and hangar data if you happened to be docked at the station that was randomly selected for the random market event. The fabricator will now continue to operate regardless of the station service you are using. Once you undock, it will stop running.

Hopefully next video will showcase the new sandbox mode, and the first 2 of many game play modes. The first being the free-play mode that will allow you to enjoy the sandbox without any preset restrictions or conditions. The second mode will be the HSE mode, where you climb through the sectors, one by one, and each get progressively more difficult, with raiders, life support, and other events that will challenge you to survive to the end oasis.


This video features the addition of the new tool tips for all items in the game. These new tool tips will break down the details of what make that item special. I have also added search functionality to a few of the station services. The Market, the University, and the Missions contracts now offer the ability to search for custom text strings.

This will make it much easy to find the items, skills and missions your are look for. I will continue to wrestle the sliders that are the upcoming sandbox mode… I am hoping to dedicate a whole video to just that, so I wanted to post these changes before that happens.
